What social media can and can't do
For a local business, social media is mainly about trust and recognition. When someone hears your name, sees an ad or finds you on Google, your Instagram and Facebook pages show them you're real, active and good at what you do. On its own, posting rarely brings a flood of enquiries. Combined with ads and fast replies, it helps every other channel convert better.
Choose one or two platforms
Most local businesses in Ghaziabad do well with Instagram (for visual businesses, younger audiences and Reels) and Facebook (for local groups and an older audience). Do two platforms well rather than five badly. Keep the same name, logo, address and phone on each.
What to post: a simple weekly mix
Rotate through these five types so your page always feels alive and useful:
- Your work: finished projects, products, before and after where allowed, with client permission
- People: your team, your space, behind the scenes. Faces build trust quickly.
- Answers: short videos replying to questions customers ask you every day
- Proof: genuine reviews and testimonials, with permission
- Offers and news: new services, seasonal offers, festival greetings with a purpose
How often to post
Consistency matters more than volume. Three good posts a week, plus a few stories, is a sustainable rhythm for most small teams. Plan the week in one sitting and schedule posts with Meta Business Suite.
Make it easy to contact you
Add a WhatsApp button and your phone number to your profiles, put your website link in your bio, and reply to every comment and message quickly. A message left unanswered for a day is often a lost customer.
Use ads to reach beyond your followers
Organic reach is limited, so a small, steady ad budget on your best posts, targeted to people within a few kilometres of your business, puts your content in front of new local customers. Track messages and calls from these ads, not just likes.
Keep it honest and local
Post real photos, mention the areas you serve (Raj Nagar, Indirapuram, Vaishali and others), and celebrate local moments. People respond to businesses that feel like part of their neighbourhood. If you'd like help with content or ads, see our social media service or book a free consultation.
